What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free: Chrome bookmarks, local search and triage, 3 daily picks, 1 project, 1 cleanup batch, JSON backup, and manual dead-link checks. It makes no paid X or AI provider calls.
Monthly (€5.99 / $5.99 or ₺249.00/month): An initial X import of up to 300 returned Posts, up to 200 returned Posts each month, and 20 AI actions a month.
Yearly (€54.99 / $54.99 or ₺1,899.00/year): An initial X import of up to 800 returned Posts, up to 200 returned Posts each month, and 20 AI actions a month.
How do I buy and activate Pro?
Checkout runs on Polar, which confirms the final currency and tax-inclusive total before payment. After checkout, open Settings → License, paste your Polar license key, and activate it. Each paid plan supports up to 3 browser activations. You can manage billing or cancel from Settings.
Does license verification work offline?
Monthly and Yearly licenses verify about every 48 hours and keep a 7-day local-feature grace period, never past a known expiry. AI summaries, Ask AI, and X sync always require online entitlement and quota checks.
How does X (Twitter) Bookmarks Sync work?
X Sync is Pro-only, read-only, and runs only when you choose Sync. Monthly includes an initial import of up to 300 returned Posts total; Yearly raises it to 800. Both include up to 200 returned Posts each month afterward. Repeated, unavailable, or deleted Posts can make the number newly added lower. The 800-Post Yearly limit is our product cap, not a guarantee that X exposes that much history.
What is the AI allowance?
AI summaries and Ask AI share one Pro allowance of 20 actions per UTC month. Free makes no AI provider calls. Only the content needed for the action you start leaves your device.
What keyboard shortcuts are available?
In Triage: K Keep, L Later, D Done, H Hide, N open bookmark details, and O open the link.
How do I export or import my data?
Open Settings → Backup. JSON is your complete backup and the best way to restore everything on another device. Pro can also keep an encrypted, link-only X recovery index in Chrome Sync. Markdown export groups bookmarks by project and category with their notes, tags, and AI takeaways.
What happens to imported bookmarks if I cancel?
They remain locally searchable and exportable. Cancellation stops new X synchronization and paid AI access; it never locks or removes the existing local library.
How does the dead-link checker work?
Settings → Dead link checker can scan bookmarked URLs for pages that no longer resolve. Manual checks are available on Free. Automatic daily scans are a Pro feature.
How do I remove all extension data?
Use Settings → Reset local data before uninstalling to erase extension data and the encrypted Chrome Sync recovery index. Bookmark changes you previously approved remain in Chrome. You can also disconnect X and deactivate your license from Settings.
Is my data shared with anyone?
Your bookmarks, X library, notes, and AI results stay on your device. There is no BookmarksUnchained account, behavioral tracking, or cloud bookmark database. AI and X requests you start pass through Supabase, while Polar handles licensing and payment.
